People usually become refugees because their human rights are at grave risk.
They sever the link with their own state if they have it, and seek the protection of another state,
because their own government is persecuting them or cannot be relied on to protect them.
When refugee seek the protection of another state, they rarely receive a warm welcome at least
by the government but that is not easy to feel it in Turkey because the Turkey government should never do it.
The first responsibility of the world?s governments is to stop the human rights violations that force people
to abandon their homes and communities. If the international community committed the necessary resource
and political will to preventing human rights abuses, then many refugee crises and individual tragedies
could be averted.
We would like to inform you about the refugee crises and individual tragedies which is happen now in
Turkey in the province VAN. We have received enough information to know there is no safety in
Turkey for a group of refugee which include the women and children and need to every Basic
Human Right as possible because their situation is very critical and the turkish government is denied
them and their exists as usual.
We support the rights of the refugees and inform you about this situation as the representative to the
authorities of UN in Turkey to recognize their rights to be granted the status of a refugee as long they
will stay there and protect them from the turkish security services. The turkish government is doing little
to help end the continuing violence.
We condemn the all inhuman situation in refugee camps with these people as need the
help now. We insist that the government of Turkey handle the situation of these people
according to the Geneva Conversion 1951, they have the right to be granted the status
of refugee.
We ask the representative authorities of UN in Turkey to help them and recognize their rights to be granted the status of a refugee
and you take care of these group of people which contains a lot of women and children who need the help as soon as possible.
