She only did it to make Ridge jeleous, and because he had proposed to Taylor at the regular Forrester showing. Before the showing, Brooke
hinted to Grant that she had a plan, and asked him to go along with it. He did, as he was madly in love with her.

Grant and Brooke chose to marry aboard the yacht "Legend". They had no guests,
not even Brookeīs kids were present.
Racing against Time...
Brooke hoped that Ridge would come stop the wedding, and after talking to Thorne,
Ridge did decide he needed to get to the Marina. He bought a motorcycle after Thorneīs car broke down, but he didnīt make it on time. Brooke and Grant
were wed by Captain Harper, and Brooke found herself unable to give herself to her new husband.
