In other words, Clue is a movie, released in 1985, directed by Jonathan Lynn, based on the popular board game Cluedo (Parker Brothers).

The movie takes place in the fifties, and the intrigue is set to an old manor in New England.

Six people, Mrs White, Mr Green, Ms Scarlet, Mrs Peacock, Prof Plum and Colonel Mustard are mysteriously invited to this manor by a likewise mysterious Mr Boddy.

When they get there, they are welcomed by the butler, Wadsworth who shows them in to the library for some drinks.

One after one they arrive, and when they are all gathered they are shown in to the dining room where they get a little more aquainted with each other.

WadsworthBy now, is it clear that some of the guests know each other, and also know some of the other servants, the cook and the maid Yvette.

Still missing is though Mr Boddy, but in the middle of the dinner, he arrives, and many questions are asked why he invited them all, and why they ought to be called by the different names etc. Mr Boddy answers that he was invited too, and then Wadsworth asks everyone to gather in the study where he shall answer all questions.

When there, Wadsworth reveals that the six guests, not counting Mr Boddy, are being blackmailed for different reasons, and the final revelation is that it is Mr Boddy that blackmails them all.

Wadsworth then suggests that they should call the police to put an end to the blackmail, and this is where Mr Boddy makes his move - he gives the six guests an present each, all containing a lethal weapon, and then he suggests that they should kill Wadsworth since he's the one who wants to call the police. Mr Boddy turns off the light, and when the light is turned on again, Mr Boddy is dead.

What now follows is a rollercoaster-ride-alike-whodunnit-movie where Wadsworth is leading the guests thru the rest of the evening to find out who the murder is, and during the following hour another five persons are being killed, though none of the six guests nor Wadsworth (until the very end...)

The movie has three endings, all of them are on the videotape, but when the movie was released one endings was shipped of with the rest of the movie to be shown at different cinemas.

Clue is not a very wellknown movie, but it has it's followers, and if you watch the movie, perhaps you'll be one of us...
