Dodge Viper History !
In 1989 was there a "Viper" Concept Car ! A Big Block car who looks cool and Wild from The Beginning ! Viper was build to be a Modern Muscle Car ! A new American Muscle car with Handling ! A Few dedicated Enthusiast in Chrysler became team Viper ! To build a Enthusiast Car , two seater , Side pipes , big block with responsive Chassie was the concept !
Then they designed Viper RT/10 show car ! Chrysler Styling Studio did the work ! For the first time the car was shown to people 4 January 1989 at Auto Show in Detroit ! People like the car and Chrysler was so pleased with the work ! The car got huge wheels and a Powerful Engine !
Im May 1990 after some time of testing Chrysler Coporation announced that the Viper will be powered with Lamborghinis aluminium V-10 Engine ! What a Machine ! In 1991 it was time to sell the car to the public ! It was a Viper RT/10 ! A Viper was also official Pace car of Indianapolis 500 ! The Engine was a V-10 which puts out 300HP !
The men Behind this Great Car are Robert A.Lutz ,Tom Gale and Caroll Shelby and Francois Castaing .
The first of all Vipers have been in one color , RED !! But in -93 Yellow , black and Green was an Option ! It dosent matter what color this car was in ! People very fast Love it ! It almost dont need no Advertise at all ! This car was a Hot Rod and a Sports Car in one ! It have it all for all " Car Nuts " ! In 1996 Viper RT/10 got soon a Friend in the "GTS Coupe" ! This was a much more wild car . It had a Roof and was introduced to raced in Touring Cars Championchips all around the world !The Coupe was build up to get weight reduction and the car was 200 pounds less the Roadster ! Much things in this was made up in Aluminum !
